The idea for this message board came to us while we were up one night having a great conversation. Since we live in different states and rarely get a chance to engage in such good discourse, we thought we might extend our conversations to the virtual world. Here we can openly and freely discuss anything we choose. There is no worry about interrupting and we all get plenty of time to put some thought into our statements/responses.

Part of the inspiration for this board came from the idea of selecting a book for all of us to read and discuss. We have since discovered that it is very difficult to get all of us to read a book at the same time, so the board is now centered around the discussion of posts made by the members of the board.
